WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED
We've covered most essentials, but there are a few extras you'll need to plan for. No need to buy anything in advance, once checked in you'll have time to visit the Sainsbury' (behind our HQ) each day.EVENING MEALS
First night is pizza night at the camp – a super social way to get to know your fellow surfers.
The second night is BBQ night, with essentials available at Sainsbury's behind our surf school.
Your third night, you're free to explore – though most groups stick together for burritos or fish & chips.
The final night we booked table at a local restaurant overlooking Fistral Beach.
LUNCHES
Plenty of cafés, coffee shops, and pop-ups right on our surf school’s doorstep – you’ll be spoilt for choice.
SLEEPING BAG & PILLOW
You’ll need to bring your own sleeping bag & pillow. You can rent a super warm sleeping bag if you dont have.
YOUR SURF CAMP ITINERARY
Get ready for an action-packed surf camp! Here's your day-by-day schedule for an unforgettable experience:
DAY 1: ARRIVAL & WELCOME
Arrive at our Newquay surf school for check-in. Short drive to our private wild surf camp. Pizza night! Fire up the outdoor oven and meet fellow surfers.
DAY 2: SURFING BEGINS
First surf session: intro & skill assessment. Lunch at a local café, then an afternoon free surf session. Camp activities & BBQ night to finish.
DAY 3: VIDEO ANALYSIS
Surf lesson refining skills & goals, followed by afternoon video analysis. Evening free to explore Newquay.
DAY 4: SURF THEORY
Morning surf theory class, then final surf sessions. Group meal at a seafront restaurant to celebrate.
DAY 5: FINAL WAVES
One final surf session, then a goodbye brunch and farewells.
FAQs
You’ll need to arrive at our base at your activity time. You can find us at 40 Fore Street, Newquay, Cornwall, TR7 1LP.
You’re welcome to join us even if you have surfed a little bit before. Our group lessons are a great way to refresh your existing skills. If you feel you won’t gain much from a group lesson you may wish to look at our private surf lessons.
We provide large bell tents, air beds, and pillows. Each tent sleeps up to 4-5 people.
If you have never camped before don’t worry the tents are comfortable and dry. We like to think that our wild camp set up is a great way for folks new to the outdoors to experience camping in a hosted, friendly and relaxed environment.
Yes, these weekends are perfect for solo travellers, mixed friends and couples. We stick together all weekend so you’ll have plenty of chance to meet new and like minded adventure seekers. Each weekend will see at least 60% of attendees being solo travellers. You’re in good hands!
You just need to get to our HQ, we can arrange a transfer for you in our Land Rover or car share with others in the group. We expect a few out of each weekend to travel via public transport.
