Activity Details
Arriving at our base in the heart of Newquay, you’ll receive a friendly welcome from your Coasteer guides.
After some introductions and a quick overview of what to expect it’s into those wetsuits and safety gear before making the 5 minute walk to our Newquay Coasteering site.
Each Coasteer session starts with a safety brief, giving an understanding of what Coasteering is, information about the route and some explanations of the skills we’d like you to use as you make your way around the Coasteering route.
Coasteering is made up of several elements such as wild swimming, low level traversing, cliff jumps, sluices, white water washing machines and more. The group’s aspirations and the sea conditions on the day will decide what’s suitable and safe.
Each Coasteering session is slightly different and can be tailored to suit your group. Our guides are there to support and motivate your group throughout, whether you want to challenge yourself or not, you won’t have to do anything you don’t want!
Coasteering is a fantastic activity for Stag Do’s looking for something slightly different as part of their Stag celebrations in Newquay. Suited to all walks of life and with no experience necessary you don’t need to be Bear Grills to enjoy Coasteering in Newquay. With 95% of Stag groups having never coasteered before we’ll guide and demonstrate each section of the session. You don’t have to do anything you’re not comfortable with and you don’t need to complete a section in order to continue the session.
